About this tutor
Pre- calculus is definitely when math begins to get more challenging. I struggled a bit in the first half of it too, but managed to pick my self back up and will strive to help you so the same. Having gone through the course myself, I understand first hand what it's like to see the material for the first time and the initial confusion that comes with it.
My goal is to help students feel more confident in their skills and capabilities and make math, the most dreaded subject, more enjoyable and disgestable.
I love interacting with students and the lightbulb moment that goes off when they finally understand the course material. My goal is to help YOU succeed!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is to understand what the individual is struggling with, to access their strengths and weaknesses and to build off of those. I do this in a kind and patient way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone through honors pre-calculus in high school and have made straight A's in the subject. I plan to take AP calculus ab and calculus bc next semester.

I charge $20/hr and will strive to accommodate to each of my students' schedules and preferred teaching manners.
