Brittany R. says, "Ms. Laura is an educational tour-de-force! Our son Maxwell was falling behind in 5th grade, struggling to stay on reading level. After just a few weeks, we saw improvement in both Max’s grades, and his reading comprehension! Having seen his brother’s improvement, we enrolled our youngest, Quentin, in Ms. Laura’s early literacy lessons! Quentin is just 4 years old, but he’s started really enjoying Frog and Toad. I would absolutely recommend Ms. Laura for any reading problems your children may be facing!" Read more

Hello! I'm Floriane, currently an undergraduate studying Computer Engineering at Western New England University. I am proficient in STEM subjects, especially mathematics; since middle school, I've taken the most advanced math classes my school offered and maintained the highest test scores among my class throughout them. In conjunction with my experience with math, I have experience working with students of all grade levels in academic work. I strive to create a refreshing, productive environment where students can comfortably be productive in. For me, it's important to show students that math can be mastered once they understand how its dif

Ashley J. says, "I am lucky to have Emily as the tutor for my boys! I have a 5th grader who is diagnosed ADHD and she is so patient with him! Since starting with Kip McGrath their grades have improved. My 5th grader came home from school SO excited because his MAP scores had increased much higher than anticipated! My 3rd grader’s reading level has also increased as well as his desire to read which had been a struggle. We have done both online and in person and they are equally amazingly impactful. I would highly recommend Kip McGrath ❤️💙" Read more

Ms.Chistine was extremely helpful with tutoring my son. We specifically needed support with his upcoming 5th grade STAAR & entering 6th grade ISEE exams, which she provided. She was patient, straightforward, engaging, and kind. My son was able to quickly warm up to her. I really appreciated the strategies she taught him to use during his exams and we saw tremendous growth. (He mastered both exams!) I would most definitely recommend Ms.Christine for your child's tutoring needs.

My son has now been attending Academia Tutoring for almost 2 months and enjoys going. He receives tutoring 2x's/week for math and reading and has already made improvements and I look forward to his continual progress. Mrs. Salone has also identified other areas for us to tackle. I appreciate her dedication to students and families by making tutoring affordable and by being flexible with scheduling. She really takes on a holistic approach by ensuring my son is engaged and ready to learn. I have truly been impressed with her and I definitely recommend her center.

She is extremely patient with our 3rd grader. She has taught him techniques that he did know and/or refreshed his memory. She genuinely cares for the student. Study plans well organized and emailed days in advance of the weekly sessions.

Kathy was a fantastic teacher, mentor and guide in both education and life. She is patient, kind and engaging, and creates organic connections between the materials and students. She is a teacher who has continued to learn throughout her tenure, giving her the ability to connect with each new generation, as well as former students. Kathy is a goal-oriented teacher. She inherently understands that each individual learns at their own pace and in their own way. Kathy continues to work with students until she knows how they learn, and then adjusts her teaching style to maximize impact. She is patient while still being structured guide. Kathy finds successes, and then teaches how to spell them.

To whom It May Concern: I had the pleasure and honor of being taught by professional instructors to include Ms. Mary Potter. She first taught me at the University of Nebraska at Omaha [UNO] Afghan Scholarship Program Intensive Language [ASPIL], part of the process of preparing Afghan students whose studies were interrupted by the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979, for completing their studies in higher educational institutions across the United States. Ms. Potter impacted me enormously inside the class as well as outside in her office whenever I had questions on SAT or on American Culture. She never flinched and always showed the willingness and keenness to assist others and me with her beautiful smiley face and positive manner. In a very short period of time, we established a good rapport and our teacher – student relationship improved to a level of friendship, which continues to this day. After I was granted a scholarship to the United States and I arrived to the country, I was always in contact with Ms. Potter to seek assistance on cultural, personal, and other professional issues. She was kind enough to even invite me to her wedding ceremony in Omaha, Nebraska, in early 1990s. Ms. Potter served as a reference for me on many occasions whenever I needed her assistance with job application or security clearance process required by the US Government. I highly recommend Ms. Mary Potter for any tutoring or related jobs as she is extremely overqualified and an experienced individual in teaching and tutoring English language.
