I have a Master degree of Computer Science, but I have been substituting at Elementary, Middle, and High schools for a while because I like to help kids who really struggle. I also have experience working with special needs children. I homeschooled my own kid for her middle school and she is in triple-pace math now. I believe that a solid foundation is the key, so I'd always like to take time to first review what kids haven't mastered yet instead of just "today's homework". I teach not just math but also how to learn math independently as a goal. FYI, I only take 1-on-1.
