About

Hi! My name is Sarah Teague, and I am a Math Tutor for elementary, middle, and high school students. Over the years I have found that I enjoy teaching and helping others succeed. I have been a teachers assistant for afterschool classes and summer camps for several years, and I have now decided to tutor online. I'm good at math and have studied different learning styles which will enable me to give effective and personalized help to your student. Everyone deserves to acheive their goals, and I am here to provide the tools needed to do that.

Sarab S.

She was very patient in her explanations and seemed to really understand the subject matter. I could tell she really excelled at math and wanted to pass on her understanding the best she could. Great experience!

My child was really struggling with math so I decided to get him a math tutor. I was reluctant to get Ms. Sarah at first because I didn’t know much about her, but i’m so glad I chose her as my son’s math tutor. After she tutored him, he’s suddenly started doing so much better in math. Something about the way Ms. Sarah explained it really helped the math concepts click with him. He’s a third grader and Ms. Sarah helped him get his first ever A in math! I was so proud and10/10 recommend Ms. Sarah.

Frequently asked questions

First, I ask them what their goal is. Then, I ask them what they need me to do. I then assess their capabilities and understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to adequately help them.

I have taken math classes up through Calculus including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Trigonomerty. I have had high A's in all of these classes.

I also am an experienced teacher. Aside from tutoring my peers  I have been a teacher's assistant in both afterschool classes and summer camps.

I charge $20 an hour.

I started as a teacher's assistant when I was 14.

I have worked with students from ages 6-18.

Be ready to put in the work :)

What are your goals? and Where are you struggling? are the biggest questions to ask when evaluating yourself. Your teachers are trained to know where you need help, so its important to ask them so that you know what you need to work on
