About
Hi guys. I'm a Ph.D college educator with 10 years experience, and am offering tutoring around the Columbia/Elgin South Carolina area (or anywhere online of course) in physics/math for $30/hour. I am comfortable with just about all areas of physics from introductory physics (that's what I've especially taught) to quantum mechanics, and commensurate math classes from intermediate algebra to calculus and differential equations, and some smattering of linear algebra, probability&statistics, etc.
I enjoy these subjects. And so I enjoy fostering that appreciation in others -- or at least helping them pass their classes :)

I do not have a priori agenda per se'. I'm here to facilitate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching physics, and a little bit of math, for 10 years at various colleges and universities.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $30/hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after graduating from the University of Florida in 2009. Teaching has always been one my keen interests.
What types of students have you worked with?
Living ones, strictly.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There is no single salient event. But I really appreciate the effort many students put into learning a difficult subject, when they come day after day to office hours, say, and little by little, steadily make progress. And it's immensely gratifying to be there when they suddenly understand a concept they'd been wrestling with.
