I have been working as a private tutor for over two years now, assisting students of many ages, from elementary grade-level to college-level courses. I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to stay fresh on materials that my students are studying at college levels, but also it makes me glad to see students finally "get" what they are studying. I am adaptable to different working conditions, and I know for a fact that one size does not fit all. I work with students to their needs to see what helps them learn best.

I love seeing students succeed in math. I focus on key terms, vocabulary and concept understanding as opposed to the use of algorithms.

I'm currently a high school student at State College Area High School, and have tutored 6th through 12th grade for 3+ years through school. Due to my young age, many subjects are still relevant in my mind, and information is not outdated. I love learning as a student, but I love teaching even more! My name is Amy Bellino. I am a recent graduate from Penn State University with my b.s. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and minors in Special Education and Early Childhood Development and Education. I am currently working towards my masters in Special Education. I am also certified to teach pre-k - 4th grade in Pennsylvania. I love working with children and am passionate when teaching and tutoring them!
