I enjoy helping anyone! When they let me know that they are improving in class, it is the best feeling to know I had a part in helping them reach those goals! Plus I have fun learning from my students as well!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I find that a simple email meet and greet ids great, depending on the age of my student(s), because some are too young and in that case I deal directly with the parent! Once we agree on a goal for each student, I draw up an initial study plan, and lesson plan! The student looks it over and then confirms the time and date for our first session! If they have any materials for me to review ahead of schdule, then there is a system where they can upload the sylabus, homework, or anything for that matter, pertaining to thier work!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

<br><a href="https://tutors.com/pa/philadelphia/english-tutors/" target="_blank"><img src="//cdn.tutors.com/assets/images/tmp/tutors-2018.png" width="150"></a><br>

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I add my rate depending in subject and hours, but I talk with each student and make it negotiable as possible! some things are even free, if it is realy somthing simple for me to help with, that wont require multiple hours of consultation!

How did you get started teaching?

I started at a small age, teaching my brothers thier ABC's and more advanced things that I was learning at school! They even had thier own little desk with paper, amd my mom never bothered us! However I officially got licensed after my associates in 2002, and it continued from there! Whatever I thought would be knowledgeable for someone else I would go and educate myself in it just to educate others!

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages and many types of students looking for a better grade or better understanding of thier work!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Making my fiance happy! I am getting married, so each day has been a great event!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find out what my experience is and if it relates to what you choose to accomplish!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

They should look over thier work and really figure out what they are lacking or having the most problem with! If it's studying or trouble with lining uo thier work as the teacher wants it turned in or whatever it may be. They should really find out where they are behind at in class, or if they have a goal to up their grade =, then what steps do they need to take to get to thier goal!
