The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! I'm a Math education major at OU so I am being taught how to effectively teach math. I've tutored before through other services and people I tutor usually increase their grade. I enjoy helping people better understand math. That's just my passion and why I want to be a math educator.

I have a lot of experiance teaching and training a variety of people. In my career I teach people how to use CADD software as well as the math needed to calculate cost of materials. There is a wide variety of people with different learning styles and I have worked to hone my abilities and teaching different people I struggled a lot in some subjects in school, and it was really terrible to feel like I couldn't keep up with my peers. I degrees in Chemical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, so I've been around the STEM block for a few years. Unlike most of the tutors you'll find here I am still pursuing my education and taking math courses (just finished the last calculus class I can take) for an architectural engineering degree from OU.
