The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Mathematics at Wayne State University and have been tutoring for 2 years. At SoFlo, we want to raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence.

Unlike most of the tutors you'll find here I am still pursuing my education and taking math courses (just finished the last calculus class I can take) for an architectural engineering degree from OU. Because it's been so recent I know how the classes are and I'm still hip with the kids- since I am one. I figured out how much I enjoy tutoring while helping a date with her homework. She asked me to help a friend and from there I started getting more students to assist. Now I'm trying this online to try and reach more....
