I have been an English teacher and school counselor for nearly 40 years. I have also worked with college students and professional educators. I love educcation and working with young people, not to speak of the love for my subject area. I enjoy working with young people and more so when I can see that "light bulb" go on in their understanding of what they seemed to be confused about! In other words=When they "get it"!

I am an elementary educator with experience working with students in both general education and English language learning settings. I earned my bachelor’s degree in education and recently completed my master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Through my classroom teaching experience and graduate studies, I developed strong skills in literacy instruction, reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary development, and supporting diverse learners.
