My goal is to create a relationship with the student based upon trust and teaching content effectively and efficiently. My hope is to help every student reach their goals and goals even beyond those they could not have imagined. I have been tutoring high school students on ACT prep for over 10 years. I have worked with over 350 students for the ACT. On average when the students works with me between 12 to 16 weeks their overall all composite score has gone up 4 to 5 points. I have also helped high school students in several pre college subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, US History, World History, Economics, and Business law. I just love teaching and helping students achieve their course goals. I stay with the journey as long as it takes for the student to be successful.
What makes me feel great about what I do is helping students achieve scores or get grades that allow to get into colleges that they thought they would never otherwise get into.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with an overall arching approach - first emphasizing what the student should get from or know from the material when we are done and then we build small defined steps as building blocks to master the material to reach our goals. We do not move on to the next goal until the student has mastered the content of the material we are working on. Building a foundation is key. Without the foundation the student will never be a successful as they can be.
