I am passionate about helping students overcome their difficulties in mathematics and I am dedicated to making sure students fully understand the areas they are struggling with. I have tutored math for two and a half years in the University Learning Commons at ST. Johns University and it has been a very rewarding experience. I truly enjoy helping students and strive to be the best tutor I can because I know that sometimes all a student needs to do well is a little extra attention and someone to guide them through the subject.

Momena was such a great tutor! She was able to break down complicated calculus terms for me and made everything so easy to understand. Math isnt my strongest subject but Momena always made sure to thoroughly explain everything I needed help with and even made sure to give clear examples with everything. She seriously made Calculus such a breeze for me even though it usually is one of the hardest math classes. Momena made sure that I understood every concept I needed help with and always provided alternate methods if I was confused. She would also make sure to create good examples or ways to help me remember difficult concepts. Would definitely recommend her, she is one of the best tutors Ive ever had.

Momena tutored me in calculus last semester. I was at the brink of failing calculus!! She wasn’t just there to teach me but honestly she pushed me and wouldn’t let me give up even when I felt down. I got an A- in the course with her help; and she also honestly had me do almost every question in the back of my calc textbook to prepare for my final. I couldn’t have done it without her! I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
