About
Experienced in tutoring and virtual teaching, with a current 4.0 GPA + effective and unique study methods.
Through utilizing multiple methods from strategies by college professors to pattern analysis of exams, repeated practice and self-studying earned me a 1590 on the SAT. With a score jump of 300 points in 1-2 months, I've analyzed and understood the barebones of the SAT, and find passion and meaning in showing these same discoveries to others, especially in such troubling times.
Prices are negotiable on situation; remote preferred.
I myself used to struggle even with school accomodations, and always sought someone understanding enough to break things down comprehensively. As someone confident in my grasp of the SAT and its structure, I want to give that chance to other kids in my place so they can a) see the test in a new light and b) understand the depth of their uncertainties to notice and fix trends of mistakes and errrors.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to get to know their strengths and interests concerning school subjects, as well as any accomodations and such that they require. I like to ask them to solve a few questions or pull up past practice tests for a quick preliminary review session. From this, I hope to derive a small picture of the areas to work on versus the areas the student is confident in so I can tailor each session to their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I myself went through SAT tutoring with a PHD professor, where I picked up high-level strategies as well as useful mindset tips on taking the test that changed my score dramatically. In my own self-studying, I was able to map and dissect the test's questions and intent; now, I can explain each section comprehensively and thoroughly in ways high school students can grow from.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am open to negotiation depending on your situation, and am comfortable with deciding on a fixed hourly rate and schedule after a small preliminery session.
How did you get started teaching?
I had practice tutoring kids my age even dating back to middle school; in that time I was placed in a specialized program but also had a few 504 kids learning alongside me, where I was allowed to tutor them for math/english/etc. In high school, I provided services locally first just to friends but gained confidence after my test performances and felt passionate in sharing my own knowledge and journey with those struggling. It started online via Reddit, and now I want to expand it to a more tangible platform!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from various countries and also in NYC locally; some had accomodations for test-taking while some were also English-language learners. I adjusted and tailored my aid to help them.
