Hi, I'm Scarlet— a 17-year-old student based in NJ, and a passionate academic tutor with three years of experience working with middle school and early high school students. My approach to tutoring goes beyond just helping with homework. I focus on building the deep understanding and study skills students need to excel in rigorous high school courses, perform confidently in AP classes, and develop habits that serve them for years to come. Every student I've worked with who has gone on to take an AP exam has earned a 5.

As an Aerospace Engineering student at Rutgers with several years of tutoring experience, I enjoy helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I’m Zack, live in New City and teach in Westchester, and have been working in education for almost 15 years. I’m dual certified in mathematics and special education, and have held various teaching positions in grades 6-12. I have a wide range of teaching and tutoring students with IEPs, who struggle and need assistance or honor students who want to Ace the Algebra Regents. I am a physics professor at a college with a Ph.D. in Physics. For over ten years, I have been tutoring college and high school students in physics and math. I believe active engagement is the most effective way to learn physics and math. My highly interactive teaching approach focuses on hands-on problem-solving and conceptual understanding. I’ve been an educator for 22 years. I obtained a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Fordham university and I hold both a Master of Arts and Masters of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Those degrees are in Learning Disabilities and Educational Leadership respectively. I love seeing the growth of my students and look forward to supporting the needs of each students that I work with.
