Hello, I am David Spiker. I am a resource teacher serving elementary students with learning disabilities. I have a variety of teaching experiences spanning over 20 years. My expertise is teaching reading and writing. I also have a passion for literature, social studies, and science. As my business grows, I will add tutors who teach a variety of subjects. Currently, I travel to students' homes in Wake County and northern Johnston County. I also tutor at libraries. I teach in Clayton and live in Raleigh. My clients tend to live close to my home or school. I am available Weekdays after 4:00 pm and all day on Saturdays.

I am a recent high school graduation looking to get into the tutoring business. K-12 material is still something I'm fresh and well versed in. I have done babysitting, tutoring of kids my own age, and help with younger kids in the past.

Hello! I am quite happy to be here. COVID-19 has taken its toll on all events, including school. While motivation may be a huge factor right now, I can try to amp the resilience by spending my time getting involved in schoolwork. I've won state awards for my writing styles, essays, 2013 Freedom Citation award in the United States Air Force. Before I retired from the Air Force my occupation was editing/writing speeches/documents for out Group Commander.
