Mark D. says, "Vlad is fantastic! He is highly knowledgeable about the subject matter (ACT prep) and conveyed that expertise in a clear and encouraging manner. He also asked why I chose answers that I did in order to learn my thought processes. He not only helped me reach my ACT score goal (34) but I became a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist due to my PSAT score. I definitely recommend Vlad for any of your tutoring needs." Read more

Kangsoo Y. says, "We just moved to the US from Korea and the change has been very tough for my kids. They are not familiar with the US school system and falling behind. I saw their confidence draining. But all of that changed when SoFlo came into the picture. To start, they gave a free assessment so they could figure out where my children were struggling. From there we had weekly tutoring sessions that my kids actually enjoy. I am seeing their confidence return and life in the US get better for them" Read more

Hey, my name is Colin, and I love working with students. Fun fact: I can move my middle finger tendon without moving my finger. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a personal level, I am a gamer, musician, and outdoorsy type of person! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Applied and Computational Math at the University of Southern California and have been tutoring for 3 years. At SoFlo, we want to raise grades, st

I am a 24 year old graduate from Saint Louis Univervisty with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. My skills are still fresh from school and I am passionate about math and science! I have always been passionate about math and science and I love helping others find success in those subjects as well. My philosophy boils down to using tools to solve puzzles- it’s all about building a toolbox of skills to solve “puzzles,” also known as math and science problems. Interested students are successful students, and my goal is to help spark that interest!...

He truly cares about you understanding the material. He has his own notes that he shares with you to make sure you understand what you are doing. He also takes it step by step and asks you after each step if you understand it. He also will answer your questions if you text them to him outside of a tutoring session. He texted me pictures of the work, and when I didn't understand it still, he met with me during a time that we did not have set up to show me how he did it and did not charge me for that meeting. He truly cares about your success and is not just doing it for the extra money. I would recommend him to anyone needed a tutor.

"My daughter had to write a pre-algebra test in a few days and I was concerned she was struggling. I contacted SoFlo online, expressed my concern and in spite of the tight schedule they moved things around to accommodate my daughter. I witnessed the session and it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I love the teaching method, and that my daughter was offered multiple methods to solve the same problem. I recommend SoFlo highly!
