Hello! I am a graduate student in Data Science at the University of Minnesota. In the past I have taught precalculus and algebra, and I have been tutoring math to students of all levels since 2015.

I’ve taught gymnastics for many years, and I’m currently a senior in High School. I’ve tutored kindergartners for about a year in Chinese, and I’ve coached special Olympics gymnastics. I have been doing Chinese for 13 year. I have done all the following AP’s: Chinese, Physics, Precalc, Calc AB, AP Lang, AP Lit, AP Euro. I’ve taken IB Chinese SL. I’m currently taking AP: Calc BC, Seminar,Physics Mechanics S, AP Comp Gov, AP Macro, and I’m a student in band with bass clarinet. I love to establish connections. I have lots of experience working with children and youth with disabilities. I especially enjoy one-on-one reading. I also attend help parents advocate for services and attend IEP meetings.

I have been in education for 36 years. I started at the elementary level for my first 10 years and then moved into teaching math at both the middle and high school levels after I completed my Masters Degree in mathematics. I have worked for Huntington Leaving Center for several years tutoring in test preparation for math and science. I also have taught English as a Second Language in China for several years. I am now retired but have missed teaching students and so I have started tutoring several students. I would welcome and enjoy furthering you in your education.
