Hello! I am a graduate student in Data Science at the University of Minnesota. In the past I have taught precalculus and algebra, and I have been tutoring math to students of all levels since 2015.

I am a college graduate with over 4 years of experience tutoring. I enjoy working with students of a variety of ages and have worked with elementary school students all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals and learning styles. My ultimate goal is to strengthen students’ understanding of subject material and build their confidence so that they can see tangible results. I have been in education for 36 years. I started at the elementary level for my first 10 years and then moved into teaching math at both the middle and high school levels after I completed my Masters Degree in mathematics. I have worked for Huntington Leaving Center for several years tutoring in test preparation for math and science. I also have taught English as a Second Language in China for several years. I am now retired but have missed teaching students and so I have started tutoring several students. I would welcome and enjoy furthering you in your education.

I taught math in a classroom for 9 years but now work in data analytics. I miss working with students so started tutoring again.
