What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students, see how they work, and retract the lesson. We will be work out problems together and I will make sure they have content knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor degree from Michigan State University. I have worked for Rochester Community Schools for 20 years in the high school settings. I have tutored for 30 years as well.

How did you get started teaching?
I started at Rochester High school and Stoney Creek High school. I got starting I teaching by the love of learning and wanting to share it with my students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students from middle school to high school. All different types of learners from general Ed, special Ed, hearing impaired, attention deficit, to students who missed school because of sickness or trauma.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The advice I would give a student is to find a tutor who you get along with, who has a passion of learning, and who knows their content
