About
I help students to achieve success in learning the science materials they need to better their understanding and move to the next level.
I enjoy continuous learning and finding new and creative ways to think about problems. Teaching is so much fun for me because it allows me to think and explain problems in different ways to help my students learn material.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically ask students what they want out of their sessions. Are you interested in just passing your class or are you wanting a deeper understanding of the material? I try to help students think about more than just getting an answer to a problem, so that they can understand concepts and apply them when needed, whether that be on a test or using that type of thinking in other areas of study.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Biochemistry at the University of Michigan and Medical Sciences at Boston University and have tutored many students in basic science courses from chemistry to anatomy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing depends on the students needs and the level of the coursework. However, I am flexible and can accommodate students based on their situation.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always enjoyed teaching. I tutored in high school, college, and now beyond. It's always been a passion to help others succeed with their goals, educational and otherwise.
What types of students have you worked with?
Most of my students are high school and college level students looking for extra help with classwork. I have also tutored adults switching careers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I tell all my students that I am here to supplement your learning. Find a teacher that will challenge you to teach you not only the relevant material, but also how best to learn and think critically. If you can do that, you will find your experience to be much more successful.
