My name is Svetlana Idriss and I am the founder of Inspyred Minds. A mother of four, I teach Wholistic Brain Based Reading and Creative Writing that helps transform learners into successful, independent, culturally connected avid readers and writers.

I am a learning success coach, language acquisition, reading/writing specialist, and ‘handwriting without tears’ advocate. A multicultural educator with over a decade of international teaching experience in elementary, middle, and high school. Fluent in Arabic, Russian, and English, I appreciate and value cultural diversity. I help students find the resources and strategies they need to overcome challenges by replacing anxiety with joy in learning.

I spent the last fifteen years teaching and assessing students from all over the globe in Italy, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, and now in the USA. My teaching methods help any learner thrive, grow and build motivation, self-awareness, and a connection with the world. I am dedicated to working with families to develop harmony and instill problem-solving techniques to overcome any challenges.

My ultimate goal in teaching is to promote the FUN of learning. Learning takes place only if students believe in themselves and their potential and are motivated to do so independently. I believe everyone is capable of learning and it is my passion and priority to nurture and support every child's inner learning curiosity and make them understand that the SKY is the limit!.
