I believe that to be successful at math you have to see how concepts and theories link together. Students often have the tools but don’t know how to apply them to solve a problem. I call this ‘linking the invisible bridges’. When you realize that you already have the knowledge and are shown how to apply it, with practice you will gain confidence and feel less intimidated by maths. One of my passions in life is explaining mathematical and scientific concepts. The moment when I see that lightbulb of understanding go off is immensely rewarding to me. I have a dual degree in mathematics and economics, and I have been working as a trader in quantitative finance for the last 8 years. I can help to teach you math and programming from both a theoretical perspective as well as with practical, real-world motivating examples.
