I am a Master's student, but on hiatus as I finish my capstone, and part of my love for social work and children is working with them, watching them grow, and helping them learn. Excited to hear from you!

I really enjoy helping people so will take the time to ensure that in every session you learn something new. We will work together to progress you towards your goals. I am excited to help you learn and provide you with new skills. I enjoy giving students the ability to tackle hard problems on their own. Once a student is able to figure out solutions without my help I feel that I have accomplished my goal. I most enjoy helping students and providing them with new skills.

With over a decade of experience helping middle and high school students build confidence, master core concepts, and achieve exceptional results, my teaching style is very interactive - I believe in building curiosity and critical thinking, not just memorization. I want students to understand the ‘why,’ not just the steps. Skilled at making mathematics engaging and relatable by connecting lessons to real-world applications and nurturing creative problem-solving.

Education isn't something we can grab off the shelf, it's a collection of skills that students use for the rest of their lives. As a graduate of Dartmouth College, I've developed a particular love for learning what a student already knows, and sewing new knowledge into that fabric. While my most recent experience was as a statistics teaching assistant at the collegiate level (2yrs), I also have experience in literacy tutoring and music theory instruction at the middle school level (1yr each).
