ShineIn Math Academy, founded in 2011 and based in Burlington, Massachusetts, serves students in Burlington and the surrounding areas and has been awarded Best of Burlington for 11 consecutive years. This award-winning, women-owned academy offers both in-person and online high-quality math tutoring programs. ShineIn Math Academy is known for its interactive, technology-driven approach and a dedicated team of professionals with strong science backgrounds. The Academy, established by Electronics Engineer Madhavi Tarugu, aims to motivate students and help them achieve impressive results in their studies.

I am a physics professor at a college with a Ph.D. in Physics. For over ten years, I have been tutoring college and high school students in physics and math. I believe active engagement is the most effective way to learn physics and math. My highly interactive teaching approach focuses on hands-on problem-solving and conceptual understanding. I tailor my teaching methods to meet each student’s individual needs.

I'm a recent high school graduate and I was always the kid who could explain the material when my classmates didn't understand the teacher. I often led study sessions to prepare for tests. I'll give you the help you need depending on your learning style and goals: I'm passionate about learning and always place emphasis on a deeper, intuitive understanding of the material, but as a student myself I have an instinct for what to study when cramming, too. I finished high school with a 4.21 GPA and I scored a 1570 on the SAT my first try. I'm going to major in Music Education and Computer Science at UMass Amherst in the fall.
