Greater Youth Resource Services, Inc. staff provide students with tutoring services that will help them receive passing grades in their classes. I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors and a chemistry degree from Wake Forest University and currently work as a research assistant for cancer research at MIT. I have worked as a tutor in high school and in college offering my peers some help with difficult subjects like chemistry, physics, and math. I tutored in college while studying physics, biology, and math, and I have decided to return to tutoring because I enjoy teaching the next generation of students. While in high school and college (and in grad school), I used the Feynman method to teach myself complicated concepts. I would read about the material, and after I had a good grasp of it, I would go to an empty classroom or room and pretend to teach the topic to a class of students. This method allowed me to see where my knowledge gaps were, and it also made me internalize the material. I hold an MS in biomedical engineering from Boston University and a BS in physics/biology. I
