Jazz's Education
About
Im honestly just a teenager looking to tutor and assist students around my age (17) or younger, helping is what I do and I love.
Up until my freshman year I tutored children from 4th grade all the way up to 8th in a variety of subjects. I don't have official certification but I'm very dedicated to what I do and I'm looking to create a website to further boost my business.
I enjoy the look kids get when they finally understand it, when something that was once confusing and frustrating for them clicks. It makes them feel so much more accomplished and capable and that's honestly my main goal is to get them to feel better about themselves and the abilities they posses.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Making students comfortable is my top priority. I want them to feel safe and like they can have fun and view me as a friend while getting a quality education. It's importance to feel a connection to someone you're expected to learn from.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Up until about my freshman year I had been tutoring children anywhere from 4th grade to 8th. I don't have any official certification but I'm working towards it for the benefit of myself and others.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not, pricing is very flexible with me and so are my hours. Simply put the charge is based off the age of the child and the amount of time per session. Nonetheless it is very affordable.
How did you get started teaching?
In the sixth grade I needed a tutor to assist me with some classes, in the process I made a friend which helped me both academically and mentally. It felt nice being able to learn from someone I knew I could rely on, and I want to give that feeling to others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked students from the ages of 8-14, but can easily vary, and I'm hoping it will. I'm now than willing to work with anyone and everyone, and will ensure that each education is equal and accessible for everyone.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please find someone you feel like you could really connect with to get the most of your time, having a friend to help you never hurt anybody.
