Adaptive Academics is a small, local tutoring company serving students K-12 in math, reading, science and ACT prep. All of our sessions are in person and take place at local libraries. Founded in 2023 by Jordan Raglow, we have been providing students 5-star service from day one. Our tutors are highly qualified and content experts in their subject areas. No two tutoring sessions are exactly alike, as we design and adapt lessons to each student's individual learning needs. I hold a masters degree in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, I have executed numerous intensive, graduate level research projects, and I spent several years working as an environmental chemist. I began teaching when I was asked to teach 7th grade math. More recently, while preparing for a graduate program, I needed to update my transcript by retaking science courses that I had originally completed more than 30 years ago. During those classes, I found myself helping other students understand the material. Soon, classmates began asking to meet for review sessions, and before long I was leading tutoring groups that proved to be very successful.
