Hi there! I've spent a lifetime studying and working in a field many people think they don't like: chemistry, biochemistry and environmental science. I hold a masters degree in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, I have executed numerous intensive, graduate level research projects, and I spent several years working as an environmental chemist. Some people find chemistry intimidating, to whom I say: Fear not! Anyone can grasp the science of chemistry, and mastery of the field does not require unique genius or that one's brain be wired a particular way. As a current college student with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

I got interested in specifically teaching math in the sixth grade; consequently, from then on, I tried to pay attention to how I was learning ; and, it has been helpful, I think, helping other people learn.
