I am certified to work with students whom are in general education (K-9) as well as in Special Education (K-9). I love it when a student of mine finally is able to understand and apply what it is I was teaching them.

I am a senior in highschool. I have years of experience in literature and writing essays. Especially in my three years in highschool, I have been placed in advanced Literature classes. I also score high in these specific tests.

I am a recent graduate from the National Louis University, with a major in Elementary Education. I am a certified elementary teacher in all subject areas and am a certified teacher in elementary (K-6) school grade levels. I worked as substitute teacher and academic tutor and student taught in 2nd, 4th grades during my masters. I was an electrical engineer. I changed my career because I reinvented my love for teaching and working with children. I am enthusiastic and encouraging with all students I work with! As of the 2025-26 school year, I recently completed my 34th year as a teacher. I've worked with students of all ages from first grade to 12th grade. In addition, I've also tutored college students in English/literature and writing. Throughout my years in education, I've had the opportunity to work with many bilingual students and students with disabilities. I use a variety of strategies to assist comprehension, clarify writing formats, retain key ideas for extended responses, and conduct research.
