About
I think my service stands out because I’m a high school student myself. I often find myself helping other students in my classes with almost any subject, so I figured tutoring couldn’t be that bad.
I enjoy seeing students feel happy when they finally understand a concept. I personally understand how frustrating and stressful it can be if one can’t understand how to do something, but my job as a tutor is to alleviate this stress.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I get them to try a problem or two on their own to see where they stand with the subject. Next, I work on explaining easy ways to solve the problem. Finally, once the student finds a way in which they are comfortable in solving the problem, I get them to continuously use that method.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a junior at Fenton High School with a 4.07 cumulative GPA, ranked 25 out of 342 students. I tutor 8th graders at Wood Dale Jr High every Tuesday.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in my freshman year of high school when I was helping a fellow student with absolute value inequalities in Math. I remember the student successfully understanding the concept with my help, and ever since then I've been helping students here and there.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mostly worked with students that were on the brink of failing. However, I do have experience with many top ranking kids as well.
