In 2015, I graduated with an MA degree in history at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. Since then I have applied my academic knowledge to working as a history and English tutor, helping students with essay writing and exam skills. I have also worked as an English tutor helping students from non-English speaking backgrounds with school entrance exams. I have been an on-line elementary teacher for seven years in kindergarten, first grade and third grade. I homeschooled my twin sons during their middle school years. Tutoring elementary-aged students in reading and math for the last four years has been so much fun! I love helping kids have those "light bulb" moments!
