I have experience working in the writing center at Grand View University. I am a special education associate and tutor for Des Moines Public Schools. I am currently working towards my teaching degree in K-12 at Upper Iowa University with an endorsement in Middle School Teaching. I use a variety of resources in tutoring to make each experience tailored to each student. My goal is to make students more confident in their work.

My main objective for this business is to help tutor young kids over the summer that are maybe behind in class or have a hard time retaining knowledge so that they have just as many opportunities in school as other students. I would hate to see anyone miss out on good opportunities because they weren't able to get the extra help they need.

My tutoring style is simple and effective. In short, I listen to you. Then, I'll teach you what you need to know in a way which fits your learning style. I enjoy teaching people English because I love the English language. Additionally, I love to teach people English and other language Arts subjects because I wish to help people achieve their intellectual and professional goals.
