A lot of people don't understand math or why they even use it. I approach math through real world application, co-creating word problems with students so they see begin to recognize it and understand what to do. I've been teaching professionally for 3+ years. I've taught math, science, English, and social studies. While in college I majored in science with an option in physics, one of the most math intensive science fields there is. I enjoy when my students begin ask their own questions and begin to further their own learning. My goal is to get my students to the point where they don't need me anymore....
