Quinn K. says, "Amelia is the fast-track to success for standardized tests. I feel like statistics do the talking on this topic so for background I primarily studied for the ACT. My section scores were: SCIENCE 36, ENGLISH 35, READING 34, and MATH 36. Also, she tutored me via zoom, so don’t let location be a hindrance to hiring Amelia because she is just as sweet and helpful on zoom as she is in person. If you want to do well on your standardized tests, AP, ACT, SAT and others, she is the one. " Read more

We stand out from our innovative approaches to tutoring online and in-person. Online Tutoring: Students can record their sessions to review services. Our platform saves tutoring notes for sessions so that they can continue their tutoring lesson instead of “restart” every session. Our services can be run on web browsers. Students can access the tutoring sessions on their computers and phones. In-person Tutoring: We cater our tutoring base off of the manner that the students learn the subject. We don’t “force” our students to perform our methods of tutoring. We adapt our methods to fit the learning method of each student. Academic Is the Key! ...

A lot of people don't understand math or why they even use it. I approach math through real world application, co-creating word problems with students so they see begin to recognize it and understand what to do. I've been teaching professionally for 3+ years. I've taught math, science, English, and social studies. While in college I majored in science with an option in physics, one of the most math intensive science fields there is. I enjoy when my students begin ask their own questions and begin to further their own learning. My goal is to get my students to the point where they don't need me anymore....

Writing is not very difficult. Writing WELL, however, can be challenging. But it's certainly not impossible. The biggest problem that students face today is that they're all taught to write the same way, when each person writes very different from one another. Students are essentially told to remove their personality from their essays or term papers; I vehemently disagree with that choice. My approach to teaching how to write well is centered around getting to know your student and their personality. Some things click easier than others. While some find writing expository essays more interesting, others can't stand them and instead prefer to

Hello, I am a 25 year old female. I am a substitute teacher through out the school year at various schools. I have my bachelor’s degree in Illustration and Design. My goal is to become an art teacher some day but for now I aspire to help kids where ever I can manage to get in. I specialized in long term positions while substituting. I have had my fair share of experience with kids on all parts of the spectrum. I am incredibly flexible and adaptable to most things. I’m easy to work with and I get along with everyone. I love working with kids because I get to be unapologetically myself and they love that about me. I am up to date on most curric

I like Ryan because he is relatable. He is a good teacher but switches things up because he is still a young adult. I think he’s able to teach me because he’s still in touch with modern games and music. I find it fun even to learn from because it’s nice to be able to relate to a teaching figure. --- Kieran
