A lot of people don't understand math or why they even use it. I approach math through real world application, co-creating word problems with students so they see begin to recognize it and understand what to do. I've been teaching professionally for 3+ years. I've taught math, science, English, and social studies. While in college I majored in science with an option in physics, one of the most math intensive science fields there is. I enjoy when my students begin ask their own questions and begin to further their own learning. My goal is to get my students to the point where they don't need me anymore....

I've been in the childcare business for over 10 years, and I've worked with kids of all ages. I've also got a degree in early childhood education, so I've got the training to back up my experience. What I love most about my work is seeing the kids grow and learn – it's amazing to watch them develop their own personalities and interests.
