About
Tutoring is not just a way for me to make money. It's a way for me to help shape the next generation of scientists, health providers, and educators. I love knowing how things work, imparting that knowledge to others, and training students how to think. As a current full-time teacher with over 7 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have learned a thing or two about education. Namely, not everyone learns best in the same way or at the same pace. Bad grades are not a sign of unintelligence. That is why a tutor can be so helpful, especially one who will recognize the intelligence of the student, adapt to the student's learning needs, and encourage him or her to keep at it. Through tutoring, I aim to equip students with knowledge and critical thinking skills so that they can not only ace their classes but also make an impact in their communities, their country, and the world at large.

How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring college biology as a Peer Tutor at my university. I absolutely loved breaking down complex topics for the students. There's nothing quite like seeing a student have an "aha" moment and become excited about a topic I care so deeply about.
