About
After months of hard work, practice, and help from peers, I clawed my SAT score up from a 1360 on the August 2019 SAT) to a 1500 on the March 4th (school day) 2020 SAT. I am happy to share my knowledge with others to help them succeed.
I enjoy "beating" the SAT. The makers of the SAT want you to fit in their bell curve, and get average scores. However, if you know the tricks they employ within each section of the SAT, and with a lot of studying and hard work, you can beat the SAT as well!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically ask them which section they need to work on (reading, writing/grammar, math no calc, math calc) they need to work on. Then I give them a practice test. From there, I go over the errors in the practice test with the student and then give them specialized practice on one topic they missed (ex. practice on solving systems of equations).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working hard and going to a local tutor in preparation for the SAT. Just this March, all my hard work paid off as I scored a 1500 on the SAT.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am not looking for anything expensive; I would charge about $15-20 per hour.
