About
Hello there! My name is Sandra, and I teach English as a Second Language (ESL). There are three (3) main reasons why you would benefit from receiving my services:
I have earned excellent credentials. I have ESL certificates from Oxford, Cambridge, and Trinity College - London. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language.
I also have stellar teaching experience. I have been teaching ESL off and on since I was 13. I have taught ESL at colleges, language schools, and even banks. I have experience prepping for language exams.
As if that weren't enough, I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals.
Thanking you for your kind consideration,
Sandra

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a new student looks like this:

(2) We go over my recommendations to see if the student agrees with them.
(3) We create milestones and begin to work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

How did you get started teaching?
When I was 13 years old, I was living abroad, and my English teacher noticed I was homesick. She offered to teach me Methodology. I took her up on her offer and taught her Kindergarten students. The rest is history, as they say!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked extensively with students from Latin America, Saudi Arabia, and China.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
For our Language Needs and Wants Analysis, I would ask you the specific situations you will be using English, both in the short term and the long term.
