☺️
I enjoy EVERYTHING about TEACHING! I enjoy interacting with families and the community, I enjoy learning from my students, I enjoy seeing the smiles on the faces of those that I teach after hearing them say I hate Math! I have no doubt about all of my students being successful! I have had the pleasure of teaching and tutoring for more than two decades now and I must say...I’ve been quite successful myself! I LOVE IT TO PIECES 😇🙌❤️

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe in introductions. I want to know all strengths and weaknesses the students have when attempting to solve math problems. I also believe in given a 10 question Diagnostic prior to starting the tutoring process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching since 1997 and I have two Educational Specialist degrees relating to education. I have also earned the Teacher of the Year title during my tenure as well as other accolades pertaining to education industry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I do have a standard pricing system. The first session would be $50 because it consists of my diagnostic exam, details on questions not mastered, a Q&A session, and notes given that will show a better understanding of how to solve each problem that were incorrect on the diagnostic. Sessions thereafter will be $30-$60/session depending on number of tutoring hours needed per session.
How did you get started teaching?
After years of mentoring, tutoring and participating as a Junior Achievement Representative, I felt the need to teach & I LOVE IT!!!! 😇🙌❤️

I have had the pleasure of working with students in grades third through the collegiate level that has experienced disparity in education.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The most recent event that I am EXTREMELY fond of is having my school chosen by the Jaguars Foundation to participate in one of their many Football Camps. This recent event was hosted just yesterday, 1/9/19.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell all students looking to hire a teacher in any area of expertise to read the teachers bios, come up with three to five questions that’s most important to you and ask those questions once interviewing the prospective teachers.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should always ask themselves “have I tried all skills that I’ve learned about the curriculum being attempted” before talking to their teachers.
