Hey there! My name is Mehmood and I'm a 4th year med student aspiring to be a neurologist in the coming months. I currently attend school at Drexel University College of Medicine where I found my passion for teaching. Mehmood is an absolutely fantastic tutor! I have never come across someone who is as dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate about teaching as he was. He has a unique ability to make even the most difficult concepts easy to understand, and he always goes above and beyond to ensure that his students succeed.
Mehmood is extremely patient and always willing to take the time to help his students with any questions or concerns they may have. He is able to break down complex problems into simple, manageable steps, and has a knack for providing real-world examples that make the material relatable. His teaching style is interactive and engaging, which makes learning fun and enjoyable.
He also has a great ability to foster a positive learning environment. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to keep things informal. I'm a guy in my 20s and remember being in some of your shoes. Your teens and 20s is a fun time, but can be stressful if school/career goals start falling apart. I'm here to change that. I'll help you get As quickly so you can enjoy life outside of school.

Several years of education and tutoring experience. Graduating medical school in May 2023.

How did you get started teaching?
As an undergrad, I did a lot of free lance teaching for fellow classmates and friends. In medical school, I further developed my teaching skills by tutoring students in the years under me. I've come to realize my passion and expertise in teaching is something people can benefit from. This is why I offer paid tutoring services and free career counseling to my students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students in all ages of life. Just recently I worked with an adult who was switching careers to go into PA school. Before that I was working with a college student needing help in chemistry. I also have a lot of experience tutoring high school kids in math and science subjects.

Just applied for neurology residency and will find out where I match in a few months!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that is passionate about teaching and making sure you succeed. This way they'll go out of their way to ensure you do well in life.
