Hi! I'm Christy and I have been teaching in some way, shape, or form for the past 23+ years! I have taught everything from preschool art (so fun!) to high school philosophy (also fun). I love every aspect of teaching and helping a student achieve their goals and experience success. I have been a public school 2nd grade teacher, private tutor, preschool teacher, and high school director. But my favorite teaching role has been homeschooling my own two children for the past 13 years! I also have an M.Ed. in elementary education.

Although I am just beginning my tutoring efforts, I believe that I will embrace the needs of my students, their circumstances and their needs. To be able to contribute to the future of a student is a blessing. I recall certain individuals who influenced me as a young person. There were not that many of them and those that had a motivating, profound influence upon me were able to do so because of themselves and not because of their credentials. I seek to have that kind of positive influence upon the students that I will meet....
