I have 15+ years in public education and write novels. I have certifications in Special Education, ESL, Spanish which I am fluent in, Math, and LA. I LOVE all aspects of Language Arts and writing. I also have unique experience preparing students who struggle with Math for Algebra using core standards, but adapting instruction for their needs. I have over twenty-five years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics and science. I have done so at both the high school and college levels. I have taught both the AP and IGCSE/A-level curricula. I am TEFL certified in China, and I have taught in Asia, so I am very comfortable working with English Language Learners.

I’m a graduate student training to get my master’s in mental health counseling. I love learning and I love helping people learn. I tutored student athletes when I was in undergrad. I feel comfortable and confident with my ability to tutor math and English. I spent a lot of my time tutoring being a writing tutor for other undergraduate students. I have a bachelor’s degree and psychology and that is my passion so I feel especially confident in that area as well.
