Kyrie B. says, "I worked with Chidubem over the summer for Java tutoring because I wanted to learn it before I took my Data Structures class next semester and she was great! I learned more about coding with Java with her than I learned from my literal college class. I am so happy I found her as a tutor. She's great!" Read more

Patrice H. says, "My daughter has been working with Mrs. Phelps for almost a year and as a parent I see the growth my child is making. Not only is she making growth in her sessions, but she is able to apply those skills in her classroom, which her teacher notices. I’m extremely thankful for the work and time Mrs. Phelps has put in with my daughter." Read more

Brian J. says, "Totally aced it with my Alan! Right from the start, it was clear he was a pro—not just in teaching but also because he works in international affairs policy for real. His way of connecting theories to what’s actually happening in the world made it relevant and interesting. His feedback on my assignments was always super thorough, really helping me step up my research and writing skills. Thanks to his guidance, I scored an A on my final written exam. Honestly, if you’re looking to really understand US foreign policy and how to analyze and write about it, you’ve got to go with him." Read more

Hi friends, I am a current insurance professional with a passion for teaching young people stronger math skills. I work with all types of learning styles and customize my approach to what is the best fit for your child. I combine gentleness with accountability to inspire confidence but also provide space to fail and grow though mistakes. I am a huge advocate of flipped learning and am diligent to find lots of online resources to supplement learning so we can use our time together to diagnose where the student has the most learning gaps.

Reviews for Washington handwriting tutors

Recent success stories from people in the Washington area.
Amelia N.
Chidubem has been tutoring my daughter since February this year, and she has been more than amazing. She helped us with Algebra, Biology, and SAT prep tutoring, and my daughter has been getting much higher scores and feeling way more comfortable with school since we started with her. She got an A in both classes (she had struggled with getting A's in Math before) and a 1410 on her SAT (up from 1250 in her PSAT!!). We had a tutor before Chidubem, but unfortunately, they were not able to form the relationship Chidubem had created with her. I am honestly so insanely grateful for Chidubem; she has made my daughter much more interested in school and studying in general and she is just amazing. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!
