I absolutely loved how patient he would work with me. If I didn’t understand something he would work through it a million times to make sure I would get it correct. I really struggled in chem 1st semester with a low C and started turoring with him and my grade by the end of second semester was a 89.7- he made chemistry fun! He helped me understand and apply the topics I was learning in class to real world situations. It was always a joy to meet with him, he always helped me, with anything, even if he has a busy schedule he always has time to sit all his students in! He also made sure to go over all the topics before a test or a quiz to make sure I’m on top of it! This is the first class I have pretty much understood and found joy in it because I was actually understanding it! He also gives out cool pencils, pens, highlighters and all sorts of goodies(i’m pretty sure they have good luck attached to them lol)! Lately, I needed some help in algebra 2, he was willing to help me with a subject he doesn’t normally help students with; but he also helped me grade go up a crazy amount and helped me understand it better! I would definitely recommend him if your looking for a chem tutor who will be patient, go at your own pace, and help you find joy in the subject!

Joel is an amazing Chemistry tutor! He helped and motivated my daughter immensely throughout the semester! He is great at explaining things, I would hear a lot of “ah-ha’s” during their online sessions. Joel was more than a tutor, he truly cared and took personally the progress that my daughter made. He always went above and beyond, being flexible with scheduling and was excellent at communicating. I never write reviews, but I had to for Joel - I would highly recommend him!!

Joel was incredible at explaining information and breaking things down for my daughter in a way that she could better understand. He is very patient and encouraging to his students. It’s easy to see his love of chemistry and how he wants to help students understand and love chemistry too!

As a student, Elemental Tutoring helped me grow all semester long as a student and a person, as well as academically. My tutor was awesome, and answered all questions I had and problems I had.

Joel is able to break down the concepts in chemistry in a way that you can understand. He asks the student questions to make sure they understand and he provides homework help outside of tutoring hours which is great. Joel is a great tutor and I would recommend him to anyone who is struggling in chemistry.
