About
When I took the PSAT in 2016, I got a 1350. Then, when I took the SAT in 2017 I got a 1550 composite score and a perfect score on the essay. Doing well on college board tests isn't about knowing the material like the back of your hand: it's about knowing the tips and tricks necessary to test smarter. I can teach you the strategies I used to improve my score between tests and help you improve your score. I will proctor a practice test the first time we meet, and then I will use that information to develop a personalized action plan that strengthens your student's weaknesses and maximize their score. I have also taken the SAT very recently, so I know what your student is facing. The SAT can be intimidating, so let's conquer it together. Feel free to reach out to set up a free consultation.
I used to really struggle with tests, so I know how hard it is when you aren't able to show your full potential on a test. It brings me a lot of joy knowing that I'm passing on what I've learned to help other students like me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first time I meet with a student, I have them take a full-length practice exam. I then score it, and develop a personalized action plan for them. The next time we meet, we'll go over their score on the practice exam and their plan. I will give them practices to do at home and when we meet, we'll go over strategies. I'll have them take other practices exams either with me or at home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I don't have any formal training. I just know how to do well on the SAT. I don't charge as much as most SAT tutors and I'm offering your student real experience that will be crucial for their success on the test.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $60 an hour and $70 dollars in total for full-length practice exams.
