I have been teaching for more than 20 years in third, fourth and fifth grades in Denver Public Schools. I have received the Distinguished teaching title for my high level of student growth data and professionalism. During my 20 years as a licensed elementary educator, I have developed many instructional skills and strategies to support students in their academic growth. I will be able to diagnose skill deficits in reading and writing and teach specifically to those skill gaps, to maximize outcomes and student success.

Adventurous Education specializes in customizing the tutoring experience to each individual student. This can mean writing math problems about Pokémon, doing creative writing about a TV show or simply sticking to basics to keep things simple. Jeanie, owner and operator has been working in k-8th grade classrooms since 2017, and is especially passionate about tutoring in math and science.
