With a Master's in Chemistry from the University of Southern California, I bring seven years of rich experience in both academia and practical application. My journey started with a Bachelor's in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, where I graduated with honors. Since then, I've been deeply involved in the education sector, tutoring students from various age groups and academic levels. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an undergraduate chemistry student teaching experience in science and English for elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and university students in-class and online. I have a degree in Elementary Education and Science.
I have research experience in synthesis, structural, and property characterization of crystalline inorganic-organic hybrid materials.
I am a goal-oriented and innovative individual motivated to learn, gain more experience, and knowledge. I strive to create a positive impact in this world and hope to achieve this through my passions for chemistry and education.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in various outreaches and as a volunteer. After my first semester in college, I got hired as a TA for a chemistry class then I started tutoring college and high school students for chemistry, English, and biology to help me pay for school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I am a tutor and course assistant for high school and college students including those from a variety of backgrounds and learning disabilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love to climb rocks, inorganic-organic materials research, and do science outreach with the American Chemical Society.
