Hello there, It's a pleasure to meet you! My name is Rubyll Banuelos. I'm a fluent Spanish speaker who grew up in San Diego, California, and moved to Los Angeles eight years ago. I have helped friends and neighbors to learn Spanish throughout the years as a hobby. I have experience working with children and adults. I aim to help people achieve their goals and build confidence while practicing verbal, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.

I am extremely passionate about learning and teaching others. Learning is a never ending process. I love that I am able to work with students and help them reach their goals whether it be to become a better writer, improve their Spanish etc.

Spanish, I was born into it, I have an advanced degree in it, and through our efforts imagine expressing yourself in your travels or if it may be in your perosnal interactions. If your needs are scholastic I have a broad understanding of the language asisting in the continium of your language mastering objectives. I love the language! I love interacting with people and getting to know what makes them tick. I love story-telling and at times that is the best way to learn,

I am a 23-year-old soccer player that came to the US a few years ago to play college soccer and get my bachelor's in biochemistry. During my undergrad, I offered tutoring to students to help them improve their Spanish skills. My favorite method is consuming content in Spanish (books, movies, music) while having many conversations. I believe in these methods because they helped me learn English when I came. From personal experience, interacting and being exposed to the language has been much more useful than just using books and writing information on paper.

I began learning Spanish as a young girl and enjoyed 8 years of Spanish instruction in school. I have always enjoyed traveling to Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries where I enjoy conversing with the locals. I have intentionally used my Spanish in all the jobs I've held- landscaping, food service, publishing, and education. I currently work as an elementary school librarian and tutor on the side. I especially like working with young children. I have held summer camps for 5-10 year olds where we explore the Spanish language together. I can provide homework help, test prep, or conversational lessons to high school or college student

At Ready To Strive Tutoring, we provide both online and in-person tutoring for children and adults.
