I have helped friends and neighbors to learn Spanish throughout the years as a hobby. I have experience working with children and adults. I aim to help people achieve their goals and build confidence while practicing verbal, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.

Spanish, I was born into it, I have an advanced degree in it, and through our efforts imagine expressing yourself in your travels or if it may be in your perosnal interactions. If your needs are scholastic I have a broad understanding of the language asisting in the continium of your language mastering objectives. I love the language! I am a 23-year-old soccer player that came to the US a few years ago to play college soccer and get my bachelor's in biochemistry. During my undergrad, I offered tutoring to students to help them improve their Spanish skills. My favorite method is consuming content in Spanish (books, movies, music) while having many conversations. I believe in these methods because they helped me learn English when I came. From personal experience, interacting and being exposed to the language has been much more useful than just using books and writing information on paper.

I am Christinna and I have been tutoring since the fall of 2004. I hold two A. A.'s from Moorpark college. One A. A. is liberal studies and the other is for intermediate level Spanish. I have a B. A. with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Spanish from CSUN. I earned my multiple subject teaching credential from CSUN and added my bilingual authorization in Spanish (BCLAD) the semester after I earned my credential. I'm native Spanish speaker from South America. I have being working for more than 5 yrs as a Spanish Paraeducator for Elementary, Middle and High Schools. I love providing instructional assistance to my students. In addition, I'm an Electrical Engineer and have strong math and science skills as well. I love teaching what I'm good at.

I make math learning fun and interesting for the learners. I instill my passion of my math into the lessons, which makes my tutoring different than others. I like knowomg that the information that I portray to my students helps them not just in school, but to be our generation’s spacemen, scientists, and mathematicians.
