Hi, my name is Jessica!
I was a division 1 college soccer player at the University of Central Arkansas. I graduated with honors, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology. I am now a graduate student at the USC Keck School of Medicine working on my Masters of Science in Microbiology and Immunology.
I love students and I love science and I love helping students further understand science.
I also loved soccer and love helping players improve their abilities all over the field!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I go over what their strengths and weaknesses are. Ask them some sample questions to further assess where they are. Then start with question/help that builds their confidence before diving into their specific areas of need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology and am work8ing towards my Masters of Science in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Animated videos help to understand processes, and changing up how you study can help how you absorb different information.
